December 2009
Prof Kenett will be the keynote speaker at the 2010 Beijing conference of the Process Improvement Community of China Software Industry Association (www.cspin.org.cn). He has also completed a new book with Manny Baker
on Process Improvement and CMMI for Systems and Software: Planning, implementation and management, Auerbach Publications of the Taylor and Francis Group.
November 2009
KPA, in collaboration with ISRU from Newcastle, UK, will deliver a workshop on the application of Six Sigma in Public Services at the 8th ICOTS conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
October 2009
KPA has been contracted to develop reliability demonstration tests to a major homeland security project. This positions KPA as a leader in this area and a recognized national source of expertise.
Prof Kenett has been invited to deliver his talk on Black Swans and the Taleb Quadrants at the University of Turin (20/10/09), University if Bergamo (9/11/09) and Catholic University of Milan (11/11/09). The talk covers novel approaches to risk management and the convergence between quality and risk models.
The Software Cybernetics Special Interest Group has completed a white paper on the Software Testing and Software Cybernetics Convergence: What, Why, How and Who. The paper is designed as a reference for discussions on this timely topic.

The paper by Kenett and Tapiero on “Quality, Risk and the Taleb Quadrants" has been listed in the top 10 papers downloaded by SSRN in the section for Decision-Making under Risk & Uncertainty. See also a related paper (without mathematical equations) by Kenett and Shmueli "On Information Quality".
Prof Kenett was an invited as speaker at CLADAG, the seventh scientific meeting of the Italian Statistical Society and the 9th Annual ENBIS Conference held on 20-24th of September 2009 in Goteborg, Sweden.

Prof Kenett has been appointed Visiting Full Professor in the Faculty of Economics on the University of Ljubljana, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Prof Kenett co-chaired the Quality Track at the 33rd IEEE International Computer Software and Applications Conference (COMPSAC 2009) and the 6th IEEE International Workshop on Software Cybernetics (IWSC 2009).
